I am the owner/founder of Imagination Starts Here which is a jewelry company I started in 2009. www.iloveish.com Therefore I have knowledge and experience as a small business owner.
I am an animal technician. I breed lab mice and rats for scientific medical research. So I do have experience with animal husbanddry. Also, I am ALAT certified and a certified animal tattooist.
I am also a licensed hairstylist. I graduated from cosmetology in 1999. I have competed and placed in hairstyling competitions. When I graduated, I had over 200 hours more experience that what is required of a hairstylist. I worked for years in the salon and still do hair for family and friends.
I'm a proud wife and mother. I married my husband in 1999 and gave birth to our son in 2008. My son was born premature and I too had many pregnancy complications. My son has gone through a lot such as febrile seizures, ear infections which led to insertion of ear tubes, and more. My son is currently diagnosed with ADHD, and Aspergers Syndrome (autism).
I am an artist too. I love painting anything from landscapes to sketching portraits. Since a young teen, I have been selling portraits. I've placed in competitions, and at the Local Fair. I have done annual artshows such as "Art in the Park". My art has also been featured in repainting of signs for local businesses.
I've spent countless hours airbrushing, glass etching, woodburning, embroidering, sewing, crocheting, knitting, woodworking, jewelry making, baking, and more.
I grew up helping my grandparents in a very large garden.
My husband went to school for carpentry and is great at landscaping. So everyday I am learning more from him.
I grew up in the country. I have a very large family with talents in almost everything possible from playing instruments, crafts, and more. My friends would describe me as friendly, fun, caring, talented, giving, motivated, and religious.
